What happens when you click "Connect Gmail" below:
Google will ask you to sign in — use the Gmail account you want your invoices to send from.
Google will show a screen that says "Google hasn't verified this app." That's expected, not a sign anything's wrong — PayHaul is still in early testing with Google. Click Continue.
Google will ask permission to "Send email on your behalf." Check that box, then click Continue again — if it's left unchecked, sending won't actually work afterward.
You'll land back on this page, and it'll show "Connected as [your email]" — that's the whole setup, done.

Outlook

Microsoft will ask you to sign in — use the Outlook, Microsoft 365, or Hotmail/Live account you want your invoices to send from.
Microsoft may show a screen noting PayHaul is an unverified publisher. That's expected, not a sign anything's wrong — click Accept to continue.
Microsoft will ask permission to "Send mail as you." Accept it — if declined, sending won't actually work afterward. If your account is a company/work account, your IT admin may need to approve this the first time.
You'll land back on this page, and it'll show "Connected as [your email]" — that's the whole setup, done.

Other Email
Send invoices from any other email address via SMTP, with the PDF attached automatically
For email that isn't Gmail or Outlook — for example a company address hosted by Bluehost or another web host — enter its SMTP settings below. Unlike Gmail/Outlook, this stores the mailbox's actual password (encrypted) since generic SMTP has no more limited connection option available.
Where to find these settings:
Your email host's control panel (for Bluehost: cPanel → Email → the mailbox → "Connect Devices" or "Email client configuration") shows the exact SMTP hostname and port to use — they're specific to your host and won't be the same for everyone.

For sending through Postmark instead of a mailbox directly — useful when a mailbox's own SMTP isn't reachable. You'll need a Postmark account with your sending domain (or address) already verified there first.
